With so many properties available, finding the one that is perfect for you can be an overwhelming task. To make this task easier, we've compiled a list of tips to help you find the property that fits YOU. When you are ready to make an appointment with us, this will be a great tool in helping you to look at property.
Decide what you are looking for and make a list.
Close to recreation?
Meadows?
Trees?
Views?
Determine what you will use your property for.
Relocating, retirement, recreation, investment, etc.
Make a list of questions.
What qualities are important to you about the property (roads, access, schools, phone, power).
Make a list of what you want the property to have.
What type of terrain, views, horse space, meadows, trees, remote/close to town, etc.
Prioritize your lists in order of importance.
After making these lists, keep in mind that you will probably not find everything that you want on one property. You may have to trade off something in order to get something else that is more important to you. Note: The "Garden of Eden" sold a long time ago - but second best may still be out there for you!!
Do not plan on Looking at every Property you like.
Narrow down your list of interest to 2-6 properties. The above lists that you have made will help you do this. If you view too many properties it becomes confusing and difficult to remember what you have seen. You can always look at more later if you do not see what you want. After being on one or two properties, we get a better idea of what you are looking for. That is what we are here for. We can help you find the right property without looking at a lot of properties that you don't like. If we have the right information from you, we can eliminate the ones that won't work and save a lot of time and confusion.
Make sure the properties you choose are in an area that you like.
If you have never been to the area where our properties are located, you should take the time to visit and drive through some of the outlying areas and the towns.
It is a great place to drive around and see the sites. Some of the areas may appeal and others may not. Do not rule out the area because of one particular neighborhood. Over the hill things can change dramatically. However, if you do not like any of the area, checking it out first can save you a lot of time and frustration.
