Events & Activities

There is a wealth of wildlife throughout our featured areas. Deer – elk – wild turkey – bear antelope – big horn sheep – fox – bobcat – and more!

The proximity to state parks and recreation areas makes our property locations ideal for every type of active lifestyle. There are three State Wildlife areas nearby. The National Forest, Monument Lake, North Lake, hunting areas, and resort areas, are located west of Trinidad, Walsenbburg, and Aguilar.

Trinidad Lake is 10 minutes from Trinidad on Highway 12, and has a beautiful campground, boating, fishing and more. Other camping and fishing lakes are within a short drive. Trinidad is not far from several ski areas including Monarch, Taos, Angel Fire and others. Enjoy staying in the relaxing and quiet beauty of the Spanish Peaks and making the short trip to ski or snowboard.

The Santa Fe Trail runs thru the town of Trinidad and many other fun activities and site seeing areas are nearby. Enjoy a drive through the canyons and mountains west of here and see the fall colors, winter wonderland, or summer fields.
